IEEE Subsea Innovation Technologies Workshop, Aberdeen, 2024
The IEEE Subsea Innovation Technologies Workshop will be held in Aberdeen, Scotland, on June 7, 2024.
IEEE UK & Ireland (UK&I) Young Professionals is collaborating with IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society to organise this workshop.
Workshop Features
The event focuses on keynote, panel discussion, workshop, research presentations, awards, and a networking event with Industry participation.

Keynote and Workshop: Learn from notable experts as they deliver keynote talks on various subsea technologies topics.

Presentations: Participants are invited to submit abstracts of their research for oral presentation at the workshop. The submissions will be classified and presented through different tracks. This is not a peer reviewed conference and full paper submission is not required – the idea here is to give participants the opportunity to meet other experts and discuss the work.
- Authors should submit an abstract (2 pages) for review by 20th May to be considered for an ORAL presentation.
- Accepted 2-page abstracts will NOT be published in Xplore nor indexed by other databases.
- After reviews, 2-page abstracts could be recommended for POSTER presentations based upon the review scores.

Poster Session: Participants are invited to submit abstracts of their research for poster presentation at the workshop.
- Authors should submit an abstract (1 page) for review by 20th May to be considered for a POSTER presentation.
- Accepted 1-page abstracts will NOT be published in Xplore nor indexed by other databases.
