Entrepreneurship in Technology, Northampton – February 2017

YP was invited to speak at the University of Northampton’s 2nd ‘Entrepreneurship in Technology’ event focusing on Entrepreneurship in Internet of things in Feb 2017.

The event provided training to candidates with full access to basic technical equipment and the opportunity to build their own technology business around an ‘IoT solution’ for a month via a hypothetical start-up group. The teams would then reconvene after a month to complete and seek ‘funding’ in a Dragon's Den style panel competition which would select and fund the best business idea based on the value proposition pitched.

YP was invited to present a session on ‘Entrepreneurship within the Young Professional and IEEE community’ and also participated as a judge in the Dragons Den panel.
